You'd think that after a life time of moving from city to city I'd have learned to say my good-byes, but these are the hardest good-bye's I've ever had to make. And the weird thing is, I know that I'll mostly likely be seeing these people again!
Sunday was a day ripe with good-bye's. I had to say farewell to the kids at Sunday School in the morning...that was really hard!! Those kids all mean so much to me and I'm going to miss them terribly. Sunday evening I said farewell to Jackie...she's become a dear friend to me and that was really tough.
Monday evening I had to say good-bye to Teagan and Shane, along with their baby sister Julia!! They're a couple of kids from the church. I got a picture of the four of us together. You can find that posted below...well, it was supposed to be below, but when I posted everything all pictures came out above this, so look up.
Tuesday was probably the toughest of all so far though. I said farewell to so many people! All the kids in Junior Band and all my friends and colleagues in the Senior Band. Thanks so much to everyone for your kind words and support!! Just spending those last minutes with my closest friends really helped to lift my spirits!!
Now almost all my good-byes have been said...only my family and Alicia's family remains...and that will come Friday morning at the airport.
Watch for my next post...it'll be coming at you from the Land Down Under!!
